The Ultimate Marvel Movie Marathon Celebrates Avengers: Age of Ultron at Downtown Disney's AMC

We are almost two months away to the beginning of Marvel's super-packed Phase 3, and Avengers excitement is building very, very quickly. The Avengers: Age of Ultron will see the end of the very long Phase 2 build-up and Phase 3 will begin with Antman in releasing on June 17th of 2015. But with all that is coming in Phase 3, what we really care about is the new Avengers movie. Over the last 6 months fans have been given ever increasing snippets as photos of the set have been leaked and teaser trailer upon teaser trailer has shown us more and more of what is going to be a massive Marvel movie revent. In case you haven't heard, or don't know what the Avengers: Age of Ultron is about, let's give you a little refresher...

When Tony Stark tries to jump-start a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Marvel has also released it's third trailer for The Avengers: Age of Ultron and we wouldn't want you to look farther then right here for it:

This is a huge movie, reuniting an incredible cast the we have watched grow over the last several years while also bringing a host of new actors and chracters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). For Example, Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen) And Quicksilver (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson) are the mutant siblings of Magneto, both of whom have been members of the X-Men and the Avengers in the comic universe for several years.

In showing the overall scope and magnitude of the current Marvel Cinematic Universe, AMC and Regal theaters will be hosting a 27 hour Marvel movie Marathon. Starting on April 29th, in sequential order, Iron Man will start of this insane marathon and each and every Marvel movie will follow until a very special showing of Avengers: Age of Ultron will be played as the last movie in the line. There are only four select locations for each marathon show. At AMC theaters, the four locations are: Kansas City, New York City, Anaheim, and Orlando. At Regal theaters, the four locations for the Marvel Marathon are: Ontario, Atlanta, King of Prussia and Houston.
