California Grill Reviews..

We ate at CG last year in September and it was amazing. It was our first visit and the food was great. DH had the bison and I had the Halibut both were so good! Sushi was the best I have had in a long time. Service was great also. I can't remember what we had for dessert so not sure if that is good or bad!

We go to the Cali Grill every trip and it's been excellent every time.

The thing about the atmosphere at California Grill that you have to remember is that every table isn't phenomenal. There are a lot of really great tables with amazing views, but there are also some tables with just sort of "ok" views. It can also be very noisy if you're seated over near the show kitchen. As long as you understand that not every table is a dream table, you won't be disappointed.

I haven't eaten there since the remodel, but Chef Brian is still at the helm, so I'm sure it's fantastic.

Manager Gary is no longer there though, I think he moved over to Artist Point to help them, "Up" there game. I was disappointed that Gary left, he was awesome in making the Cali flow. When we were there in January though it was just as good as always. Every restaurant gets varying reviews, heck just look at the difference in opinion here on this forum about restaurants.

We ate there in January and just a week ago on the 18th. We had great service both visits and the food was excellent both times. In January we were close to the show kitchen and enjoyed it immensely, whereas this last time we were over by the side, but it was a good spot as well. I had the swordfish both times and would have it again, it was so good. Ken had the filet mignon in January with the dragon roll and then had the spicy Kazan roll this past trip with the swordfish. He raved about it for days. We've eaten at Cali Grill 5 times in total - 2 before the refurb and 3 after and we have never had a bad meal, nor bad experience.
