Family Reunion for 36

Has anyone planned a Family Reunion at WDW? Our family consists of a total of 36. Trying to plan something for next Spring. What are your thoughts? Where would be the best place to stay on property? Thanks!

Poppet I am just wondering if the "Grand Gathering" division or department could be of help to you for something that large. It may be worth a call to WDW to find out.

This was posted a few months ago about family reunion planning.

I agree with VL about calling for information. While they discontinued the special Grand Gathering events, they will be able to help you with planning for that large of a group.

I'd say get everyone into the new Art of Animation resort. Those that need suites would have them and those that need regular rooms would have them.
We had a grand gathering of 17 in 2008. It was awesome! Most of us stayed at the PORFQ one of my sisters stayed at Coronado and my parents stayed off site. The only issues we had were waiting for everyone to meet up. It takes more time than you think.
With everyone at AoA at least you could catch buses together and already be together for planned activities.

We did 32 back in 98 and had the best time together at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. We didn't do an official reunion party or anything we just kind of traveled around together.
