Fishing in Bay Lake?

I'm not particularly into fishing, but I was surprised to learn you can fish in Bay Lake. Just not from the beach or the docks. I've seen the fishing boats, but I never knew you were allowed from the "shore." Anyone ever considered doing this?

I haven't done it personally but my brother and his kids did it when they stayed in the campground. It's a catch and release type fishing you can't eat the catch.

Personally I hate to see the little fishies suffocate so I don't partake in fishing activities. waiting I'd rather go to publix and buy them ready to eat.

Okay, maybe I participate in the beer drinking part sometimes but that's it for me in the fishing department.
