How Many Downtown Disney Restaurants Have You Tried?

As you might be able to tell, DW and I have eaten just about everywhere on property, however there are several of the Downtown Disney restaurants we haven't tried. Are we alone or do you guys pass on many of these too?

T-Rex is our favorite. Our kids love it, and my parents love it as well. Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop is a great stop for a snack. Seriously love the chocolate there! So whenever we go... those are usually the two stops we make.

Well if Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop counts we go to that. But that is it, none of the others!

Once I started making my list (and checking it twice Santa)I was surpised there were that many.
Earl of Sandwich
T Rex
Raglan Road
Wetzel's Pretzels
Cooks of Dublin
Ghiradellis
The now defunct McDonalds
the snack bar in DisneyQuest
and, The Empress Lilly (before it became Fultons Crab House) It used to be the most exclusive restaurant in all WDW.

We always hit Wetzel's (pretzels are a food group in my book), EoS and Ghirardellis. We've been to Planet Hollywood a few times in the past but the service started to stink and it was too loud for us so we stopped.

I keep wanting to try T-Rex but not sure if I would be able to handle the noise there either. For those that have been, is it loud there?

Other than EOS and the occasional trip to Wolfgang Pucks we tend to shy away from the Downtown restaurants. I don't know why..we've done a few in the past but none of them would we go out of our way for. It was a more of an "we are here..let's eat!" kind of thing.

OOoo, thanks Vette! *crosses off future-try list**

I forgot Wolfgangs! We got there just about every trip - usually our first night dinner at WDW.

I like to be in the parks too much - from open to close. I've only one or two restaurants at DTD recently. I went plenty of places when I was younger with my parents but most are gone and I can remember some names, too. But I have recently been too.....Earl, Wolfgang Pucks, Rainforest & Planet Holloywood. Next trip Raglan Road is on my must try list!

But I don't think it's overly loud.....I've been to louder places....like rock concerts...lol

Yeah.... but you go to rock concerts for the music... not the food XP

Rainforest
Wolfgang Pucks Express
Wolfgang Pucks (Upstairs and Downstairs)
EoS
Raglan Road

My Raglan Road affection is well-documented here. We also really like Pucks, and have never, ever had a bad meal there. I haven't had it for ages, but their sushi was always really good. And, of course, EoS. I don't know anyone who doesn't love it.

We ate at Bongo's in Miami. Overall, a fun concept, but overpriced for the food imo.

I have eaten at:

Pollo Campero (I was there the day it opened)
Fulton's Crab House
Planet Hollywood

I mentioned early in this thread that we love EOS and Puck's Express but I forgot to add that we have done Rainforst Cafe..it was good and Capn' Jacks. Capn' Jacks was interesting. We were without an ADR and in DTD so we popped in randomly and were seated right away. We had the lobster..it was actually the first time we'd had lobster and we both thought it was great. That being said we are from the south so good lobster to us might be totally different to someone from Maine.
