i'm hoping to get more time off after the cruise, so i'm a tentative yes. If Christy can come down for a weekend she might meet us after the cruise, so let's count her too!

We are planning on the land portion...dessert party sounds great...as does Boma on 20th ZZ! Not sure of how long we are staying but I am hoping for 10 days... Exact dates to follow... Planning on PORFQ.

Oh btw, folks with DCL experience--do they usually do a special offer for booking your next cruise onboard like the other cruise lines do? That's kind of what I'm counting on Smile

They do.... But at the current selling price so often people find that booking early is cheaper

My husband was adamant about not doing another trip in 2016. However, now he is saying that since we are only going down for 3 days then he might come! His "mights" usually mean yes, so hopefully I can convince him to come along. clapping clapping clapping

Anyone interested in splitting a cabana on CC? It becomes much more reasonable with two or three couples.

What exactly is the benefit for a cabana? I don't know x

too pricey for me. sad
I like serenity bay and have no issues with quiet space. Once I hit the water slides and the hidden mickey snorkel area, I hit serenity for adult beverages and the adult buffet. I'll save that $500+ for another cruise or after cruise plans.

I need your help making a decision. First where is everyone staying for the post cruise meet n greet? Second would you stay onboard the cruise ship for a few extra days and then meet up with the group for 3 days? Or stick with the plan and meet with the group for 5-6 days post cruise? It's about the same price. It looks like we (my family and friends) are jumping ship in 2017 and sailing on Royal Caribbean instead of Disney.

I need to make a decision and I'm really torn. Give me your pros and cons please. I need to make a decision soon so I can book something.

Thanks in advance,
Ps I'm off midnight shift soon, so I might actually be around more biggrin crossfingers

Hi Dee! We're at Polynesian post-cruise and we are only staying until Tuesday. Are you factoring in food costs when comparing the two options?

We're staying two nights at the Boardwalk before and after the cruise, so just the two weekends.

Yes, I factored in the cost of a moderate with a meal plan vs the cruise.

Thanks, it's been a rough month. You two are coming after the cruise right? How long are you staying?

I'd be back Monday and I'm looking at the French Quarter or Riverside

Well....she probably thinks we will fly to Orlando on Saturday (but I'm making her take Friday off work to leave early) and usually we return the following Saturday (have Sunday to catch up on laundry and get ready for work on Monday) but I think we should fly home on Sunday morning..(that still gives us all afternoon to do Stupid laundry). Then we get 10 days!!! clapping

The first day we arrive is a non park day to decompress from the flight -so its Disney Springs time...and the day you fly home shouldn't count towards Disney time....so really I'm only getting 8 park/play days.... this seems fair.

Right?? biggrin
