I wish i was on that plane, just normal delayed flights for me when I leave Brisbane. I'm glad you posted that cause I can now share my excitement at The Lion King musical coming to Brisbane! I saw it when I was in Sydney about 9 years ago but now its back in Australia and coming to Brisbane which is in my own state, just a 3 hour drive away. Tickets go on sale Friday morning and its my day off from work which means I can get on at 9 o'clock and get great seats for the day I wanna go. I can't wait, and I apologise also for rambling.

Brisbane has gone crazy trying to get Lion King tickets the last 2 days. I spent 6 1/2 hours online Friday getting them. They really didn't know what hit them, they had to keep adding shows all day.

Well they did a whole (new) world of good bursting into song like that...I'd imagine almost all of the passengers there would have gone home to find out about getting tickets to the full show having had a 5 minute preview.

It was the same in Southampton in the UK. I tried to go onto the theatre website on the day tickets was released and i was something like number 1924 in line just to get into the theatre website, then there was another long line to go through online checkout. It made the local paper as well as people started to line up in the rain outside the theatre box office at about 3am to be among the first to buy tickets. It's here for several weeks over the summer, looking forward to seeing it.

I just watched the clip to the impromptu "Circle of Life" and right on cue.......the waterworks began. That song gets to me every single time.
