Okay! We don't actually board the Wonder until one week from today, and OMG I am so excited! I'm getting the trip report started now because once we leave home I'll be posting exclusively from my mobile phone (when I post at all), and new topics are much easier to start on a real computer. So check back here in a week or maybe two and maybe you'll find a few ship and Hawaii photos.

Our trip has begun! We don't board the ship until tomorrow; today we flew to LA and are staying the night at the Crowne Plaza nearby. Tomorrow we get up at 3 am LA time (thank God that's 6 am our time!) to board a flight to Vancouver and start the cruise.
Today's flight was completely uneventful and arrived early. It's not quite 2:30 LA time, and we're lounging in our room for a while. Dinner will be at the hotel (too tired for the originally planned foray into LA), then a very early night so we can be ready to go in the wee hours.
Probably no posts for a while after this. Just assume we're having a great time.

Haha! I actually love doing the same thing. We always stay at the airport the night before we fly to Disney. I always request airfield view and then sit at the window at night watching the planes come and go while listening to air traffic control on my iPhone app. I'll be doing it again this Friday.

Forgot to mention, our room tonight was upgraded to club level. Yeah, it's nice. I could get used to it. Unfortunately, we have to check out before the free breakfast is served.

We love it so much we've booked the October 2016 Big Meet Up cruise.
The ship is pulling in to Hilo, so I now have phone service again. Will post a few things on the fly.
And hubby isn't at all bothered by the expanse of the ocean, and my scopolamine patches tamed the motion sickness. Yay for cruising!
