Dessert on Quick Service DP - choices?

I'll be using the quick service dining plan on my next trip and I know that lunch and dinner come with a dessert. My question is, can that be ANY dessert the counter service restaurant offers or is the QSDP dessert only limited to particular desserts? For example, if I go to Kringla Bakeri og Cafe in Norway for a sandwich, can I pick school bread as my dessert within the dining plan? Same thing for Boulangerie Patisserie in France - could I get a sandwich and then a creme puff as my dessert on the dining plan?

Oh, great question! I've never used my DDP at either of those places, however when I have used it I was able to pick any dessert that was on the menu.

A couple of things I've gotten are:

  • Carrot Cake from Pecos Bills

  • Triple Chocolate Cake from Cosmic Rays

  • Key Lime Pie from Sunshine Seasons

  • Zebra Domes from Mara

I know it changes yearly, but I do remember getting a School Bread using a snack credit. Not sure about the dessert credit though.

Did you know you can use a quick service credit for three snacks? We love to go the the bakery on main street and get cinnamon rolls or other desserts to stash in our room for breakfast the next morning. Yes, they give it to you to go! We also do this at the resort if we have leftover credits.

Humm.... Not always true though, only some cm will let you exchange them nowadays, it used to be far more common but they have cracked down on it recently, some families on my other forums have tried everywhere and been refused Sad

I hate to say it, but the dining plan isn't what it used to be.
