Do you actually watch the Christmas Parade?

I watch it every year on Christmas morning and I love it. Yes, it's pretty much just a three hour long Disney commercial..but really...who doesn't love that??

I try to watch it. I at least tape it to watch later because my family has such a busy Christmas morning!

I've never been a parade person.

Yes-ish? We watched it when we were still in WV...but now, knowing that it's taped ahead of time and being so close (please, don't smack me for saying that with such a blase tone) we have it on, but aren't riveted.

I kinda miss the days when I thought it was actually live.

I wish I had the chance to watch it, even if it was on boxing day rather than christmas day (so we wouldn't get it before you guys did). We have enough Disney kids chanels in the UK that one of them should be able to show it.....

HEY DISNEY... ARE YOU LISTENING?

It does kind of take something away from it when you figure out it's not live!
I wonder why it's not? I mean..I get the singers and stuff not being live but still..

Funny, I had no idea it was not live until Joe told me a few months ago they were taping it during our trip. I just assumed it was live! Duh!

I wonder why in the world they wouldn't show it there?

I always assumed the same thing, even though I heard about them taping it. I guess I never put two and two together.

Don't feel bad...I don't think I figured it out until we moved back to FL...it's pretty obvious when the weather is TOTALLY different than what's going on outside your window on Christmas Day...but then it's FL, so I suppose they have a better than good chance that it will be, you know, sunny and warm on any given two days.

Tony - that is ridiculous. When is this global company gonna get a clue? Hmmm...wonder if a comment on the Disney Parks Blog would do anything. I'll try and remember to make one at some point today.

awesome Lizzy crossfingers

As a global company, you'd think they'd include all of the parks world wide and show it in every country they can. Thinking about it, some travel channels would probably PAY Disney for the rights to show it.

I tried to make a comment today on Disney Parks Blog...and couldn't remember my password for the life of me sarcastic I will try to remember it. You never know...if they're listening here, they're definitely listening there! (Gosh, I sound a little Men-at-Work-Who-Could-It-Be-Now-ish-paranoid. Smile
