How do I see all of my old posts and threads?

I am probably being dim (wouldn't be the first time!) but how do I look through all of my old posts? Is there a way to do it? When I click on my name I can only see the last few posts I made, is there a way of looking back further?

Good question...for now what I do is click on Edit Settings and click on the view button and once I do that at the bottom of the page is my recent activity. Am sure that isn't right but for now that is how I do it. So hopefully one of the wonderful keepers of this site will give us the correct way.

No Robyn dear, that is all you can do. Even as a mod I can not do that. Do you need to find something specific?

The only way you could really do that is by putting your name in the search window.

ah ok, thanks Mrhub.

To the site admin, do you think its something that could be brought in? or would it be too difficult? I know nothing about computers etc so very sorry if that's a stupid question! xx

As an alternative method, you can put your name in the search window and hit the return key.

Sorry, I didn't see that Mr Hub had suggested the same method in a earlier post. Great minds run around in circles, I guess.

It's a feature I miss too, being able to see my old threads. I have found if there is one I know I am going to want to see again I am trying to remember and subscribe to it. I hadn't realised until yesterday that someone had posted on my pre trip report, as it wasn't in my list of most recently updated threads.

Robyn - I will look into that for you. I don't think that it is something that's realistic at this time though.

Anytime there is a new post on a thread it will show up under the new posts link if you have not opened that thread since that post. Sometimes people open a thread, read the posts to the bottom of the page and do not realize there is another page of posts. That is most likely why it did not show as a new post in your case, it was most likely on the next page and once you opened the thread, it was then marked as read.

As far as I am aware we have never had new posts not show up as a new post in a thread. If you think you are having that problem Disney Holic, please let someone know ASAP and it will get looked into.

Sorry I didn't explain it very well. I hadn't been on the site for several days, so someone had commented on my thread several days before, but other more active threads I had posted in had been commented on more recently and so had bumped it off the bottom of my list of recently commented threads. Does that make sense? When I went into it by another route I realised someone had commented and asked me a question, it was still showing up as a new unread post, I went using the [1 new] link at the top.
