Impatiently waiting....

We currently have 2 more days until we find out if we can rent DVC points for our Disneymoon in September. We are hoping for Boardwalk or Beach Club since we will be there for the Food and Wine Festival, but if those are full where would you recommend staying? My next choice would either be AKL or BLT..... that we can get one of the Epcot resorts though!

AKL is beautiful. The only con in my opinion would be you have to take a bus everywhere and other mode of transport (monorail, boat, walking) are not available. My family and I had a bad experience at BLT and the only thing we like about it was the other modes of transport, especially walking to MK. Hopefully you will be able to get into Boardwalk or BC. Fingers crossed for you!

BWV is my home resort. I just checked for 9/26 check-in to 10-4 check out(8 nights), in a studio:

All nights available for pool/garden view studio!! For both std view and Boardwalk view studio, only half the days available

Hope it works out!!

Are you going with a particular site? If one rental site doesn't have availability, it does not mean that all sites don't. You might want to check with a couple of different sites to get what you want. I tried Dave's one time and then dvcrentalstore.com...dvcrentalstore.com had a customer that wanted to rent exactly what I was looking for, but Dave's didn't. The owners don't usually advertise on multiple sites for rental of their points.

Thank you! This makes me feel a little more hopeful to get one of the two top choices.

I have been in contact with DVC Rental Store so far since they do not require any funds up front to check availability.

HOORAY!!!!!! Patience pays off and we got the Boardwalk for our Disneymoon! I am so excited and now I can start counting down to our ADR's. Between planning our wedding and planning our honeymoon I will be having so much fun and so many things to keep me busy to make the time fly by.
