I'm wonder what the crowds will be like in the days leading up to Thanksgiving. We'll be in parks for 5 days. Friday 11/20-Tuesday 11/24.
Our annual vacation to Disneyland is usually during those days so I'm anticipating large crowds. At DL the lightest day is Friday, slightly larger crowds Saturday and a significant jump in attendance each day leading up to Thanksgiving.
Can I expect a similar rate of increase at WDW? Does the option of other parks help disperse some of the congestion?
Thanks you!
Walt Disney World's Guest make up is a little different than that at Disneyland with much heavier local traffic in California. That being said, yes, there will be an increase in traffic over the Thanksgiving Holiday. You can anticipate the Magic Kingdom having the most significant traffic increase, with the other Parks having fewer guests. The best way to take advantage of the crowd dispersment is to head to those other parks. For a day by day breakdown I highly recommend checking out the crowd calenders at touringplans.com.
