My Disney Experience...

Hi Folks...Well that's me onto My Disney Experience. Com...I've ordered and customised our wrist bands and will receive them, all going well, when we arrive at our resort..I know about the 180 day + 10 for our ADRS..and the 60 day FP, but I'am still trying to get my head around how many FP you can book in one day..And I believe you can't book them for different parks on the same day, also I'am sure someone said you can't book two major attractions..Like Soarin and Test Track on the same day..Can anyone keep me right on all this new stuff,or is there a site I can check all this information on..?...Cheers again..

you are able to book only 3 FP+ in one day and can only book at one park per day. And yes, at Epcot, you can only book Soarin' or Test Track plus 2 other choices, but not both on the same day. This is how it is for my DH and I and we are headed to WDW later this week. For the one day I have chosen FP+ at Epcot, we went with Soarin'. This is our first trip with magic bands and FP+, so we can give more info as we try them out. You can try to get additional information off the Disney website, but I'm sure some more people will chime in as well that have already used it.

I think for us it would be Rock'n'Roller Coaster or Tower of Terror. Not sure if I like this bit about only being able to get FP at one park a day. We like being able to park hop and I was gong to be able to get passes in more than one park. I guess this is their way of keeping things equitable.

The way the tiers are set up now you can sechedule a FPP for both. I was surprised ToT wasn't in the first tier.

We just booked our FP+. We decided to book our choices for afternoon/early evening hours. We know that we'll get to the parks at or before opening and be able to ride most of our choices, if not all of them then. So, we're using our FPs for a second ride later in the day.

That's a great idea..We are also early birds, and I suspect that in October it will be quieter than in July first thing,so I'am gonna steal your idea..Cheers..

Ugh, I'm really disliking this tier thing! On our October 2012 trip (thanks to a nice CM who gave us extra FP) we rocked ToT, TSMM, and RnR FPs all at the same time! Now we can't even get TSMM and RnR for the same day?! Poo! yuck

So for now you can only book three fastpasses per day in one park. You can change your fastpass selections from one park to another as long as you don't use them in the original park. Once you use a fastpass in a park, you are locked into that park. As long as you don't use a fastpass, you can modify it. If you get to a ride and it's 20 minutes or less, it is recommended that you use the standby line then switch your fastpass to something with a longer line. The My Disney Experience app is experiencing some issues with modifying fastpasses.

Epcot and Studios are tiered because almost everyone were getting the same fastpasses. Mostly everyone would choose Coaster, TSM and then like Tower/Star Tours for Studios then they would choose mostly Test Track, Soarin and some random ride. So they decided to create the tiers so everyone would have the same chance of getting fastpasses.

Disney did a survey and the average guest got 1-2 fastpasses per day. So Disney decided to give everyone three. Cast members, annual pass holders, resort guest and every one in between can only get three fastpasses per day. Disney does realize that some people were able to get like 10 fastpasses a day because they had learned how to.

We picked out our FP last weekend. We had to do earlier times in the day to get what we wanted. Hoping we can get to the parks early and walk on some of the popular ones or at least get them later in the evening as we have some midnight closings! Pretty happy with what we got. Some parks didn't have a big selection we thought.
