WELCOME!!! This truly is THE BEST place! You will LOVE the Beach Club! Very romantic. The rooms are beautiful and the lobby is gorgeous. You will totally fall in love with the pool, "Storm Along Bay". It's like a mini water park. The bottom is sand and it has the most incredible slide. It's a fallen mast from a pirate ship. AWESOME!!!! You are made to feel like you are in Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. You cannot miss the dinner buffet at "Cape May". That is a MUST! The snow crab legs are to die for! They do a "New England Clam Bake". Amazing! You will have such a wonderful time!!!

Wow! that sounds like a fantastic time, and you must make time for stormalong bay, it's an icredible pool and you will love it. Oh! and you will have a real blast at the Richard Petty Experience, when we went, it took 3 days for my wife to stop grinning from ear to ear about it.

Vettelover, I have my noodles sitting in the den wanting for there adventure at stormalong bay!!! Very excited about it. Riding in a Nascar has been my dream from when I was a little girl before Nascar was cool. back before they would drive a green car.... When the allison brothers ruled! Ok I guess that tells my age.

OK so you know about green cars, laugh wink and the Allisons. Having worked at NHIS, (now NHMS) I had the pleasure of meeting Bobby and King Richard and Dale Sr. and many others, but then shifted gears so to speak and changed completely to drag racing and up until last month I still worked at the drag strip. The Drag racing time was the BEST.

yay and congrats

You will LOVE LOVE LOVE Victoria and Albert's! We have had the distinct pleasure of two anniversary dinners there (not Chef's Table, so for that I am quite jealous! laugh ) and we can't wait to go back!

Please report and post pictures! muchlove

Vettelover you are my hero!! What a honor to meet the Greats! I do like drag racing and also outlaws. When the itenerary planner booked the Richard Petty she did so under Dan's name. Had to give her a call and let her know he would just be watching. wink I am the one who loves to go fast!! Her comment was oh we don't ever book women for this I just assumed. Well I am not your average woman laugh

Ollie We are so excited over Victoria and Albert's! I kept telling my husband I didn't think we would actually get the reservation. So we were going to be happy with which ever experience we were going to get but the pixie dust was sprinkled on us. We will take plenty of pictures. We both love to eat and I love to cook so watching chef Scott and staff will be an amazing adventure. I am thinking of doing a trip report. This whole trip is such an amazing experience of first for us. As many times as we have been to WDW we have made this one, a trip of a lifetime. We would love to share our experience with anyone who wants to hear about it.

Nancy thank you. No we haven't. We have always wanted to but with 3 boys it was never "the right time". We have spoiled our self's with fine dinning. We think this is going to be the best of the best. We are so excited.I will certainly let you know all about it.

Dinah I'm late but welcome to WDW For Grownups! Glad you found us and your going to have a wonderful time experiencing the world without children! It's amazing and a totally different world & feel! I added you to the Who's going list also. Sounds like you have a wonderful trip planned. I'm jealous of you doing the Chef's Table also. I would so love to do that, but I fear Scrappy (DW)would not enjoy it as much as I would. Would love to hear your trip report once you get back though!.

Thank you mrhub for the welcome! We are very excited to try the world out again with out children. Don't get me wrong we really enjoy going with the boys and can't wait to go with them again someday. But it is time for the next chapter in our life and Disney will continue to be a big part of it. As far as the Victoria and Albert's it is an amazing opportunity. I think I have finally talked Dan into trying what ever Scott Chef creates. He is a little concerned, I think we watch way to much Chopped!! lol

I understand completely Dinah. We entered that chapter of our lives a few years ago. Kids are grown and married now and we are living life for us now and enjoying every minute. We still enjoy taking the the family to WDW also, but that will only happen every couple of years. We make Disney a bigger part of our lives every year. awesome

Dinah, I'm late to the welcome party too, but we're sure glad that you're here! I hope you come back and share all of your experiences. I cannot WAIT to hear about the chef's table.

Sounds like you certainly know your way around food. Have you ever been down for F&W at Epcot?

Thanks Lizzy B it's never to late for a welcome party. We have been down for F&W. It was wonderful. There were 5 of us (3 old enough to drink and 1 vegetarian). We would each pick something at the kiosk and share so we could taste almost everything. We were not able to do any of the special events but I am looking into going back next year for a girls week. Hopefully we can work in some special events then. My advise is to enjoy the experience try everything you can. The only thing I did not like was the honey wine. I don't remember which country it was in, but I think from now on I will run when I see the words honey and wine together. laugh
