Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party

I am working on my bucket list for my upcoming trip. I have always wanted to go to the dessert party, but I just wanted some opinions on whether or not it is worth the extra money. I love the idea of being able to just relax while waiting for the fireworks and even more so with the idea of not getting whacked by out of control strollers.

I do, however, have Celiac disease, so a lot of desserts are out for me ( I will just force DH and the LO to eat more to make up for the cost if I have to!)

So essentially is the view enough to make it worth the extra cost?

I did it once, don't feel the need to ever do it again... I ate about 5 desserts and enjoyed 2 of them. Get a wishes fastpass instead Wink

So, glad you asked Nikki - I was wondering about it too! Thanks Robyn!

DH and I experienced it for the first time this past January. It was rather chilly so the coffee and hot chocolate was really good! The deserts were ok...the offering of ice cream would have been better if it had been warmer. But the thing that made it worthwhile was watching as Tinkerbell flew from the castle to a landing spot right over our head. THAT was amazing and worth the price! mickey

I'm glad we did it once, but probably won't do it again. It's nice to have some elbow room (and a reserved tables - with CHAIRS) for the fireworks. The dessert buffet is OK, but I am generally underwhelmed with Disney desserts in general.

If it matters to you at all, you are sitting way off center for Celebrate the Magic and Wishes. Skews the overall effect a little. Didn't bother me, but one of the people in our party was put out by it.

We have done it once too. Like most, I thought the deserts were mostly just okay. However, we did it on July 5 when they were doing the special July 4 th fireworks again. Having a table and chairs to relax in for an hour before the show was well worth the price. I would do it again sometime.

Thanks everyone! I will not be eating too much of the desserts anyway. I might just go ahead and try to get a ressie just to experience it one time. I think this might be my last trip for a couple of years, so I am trying to get everything in that I can.
