Upgrading tickets - Is there a time limit??

For our next trip to Disney this May, we're considering bypassing getting Annual passes and sticking with a typical 7-day park hopper. We're not sure if we'll return in 2015 after our May trip, so do not necessarily want to shell out the $$$ for 4 annual passes and only go to Disney once in a 1-year period. Now the question is: Should we change our mind later in the year (as we've been known to do) and decide to upgrade to an annual pass, can this be done? Is there a time limit from when you purchase your initial set of tickets (7-day park hopper) to when you choose to upgrade to annual passes?? Just wondering if anyone here has done this or knows the answer to my questions.. Thanks for any and all help you might provide..

OK - I *think* that the time limit is 14 days from the first use of your ticket.
That being said, I didn't go look that up before answering, so I could be wrong.

I thought the same. I think the tickets need to be valid still to be able to be upgraded Smile

I think you have to upgrade before you've used your last park day in addition to the 14 days from first use. But I also didn't look it up.
