We Gon And Dun It

Following the heels of Jeff and Joe, after celebrating our 20th Anniversary this past June, my partner and I went to Iowa City (his home town) and got married yesterday. We got tired of waiting for the Illinois legislature to quit bickering amongst themselves, and once the IRS decided to recognize such marriage, we didn't want to wait.

It was a small ceremony in a magistrate's office, attended by immediate family. We both wore the Mickey Ears tuxedo hats, which were a hit at that office. The magistrate even requested a copy of our photos!

I told Chuck that I can now legally nag at him when he forgets to take out the garbage. Smile
