Holidays Around The World has upped its game this year with more Marketplaces than ever! Stroll the promenade and get a taste of the yummy holiday treats being served up. Five brand new marketplaces will be open along side old favorites from Nov. 25 through Dec. 30. Specialties to indulge in include duck confit and dumplings from the Alpine Haus Marketplace, shredded beef tamale from the Three Kings Feast Marketplace, and Williams Punch from the Germany Marketplace!
When I'm down for the holidays I always like to do a little resort hopping to see all the different themed holiday decorations on the trees. This year I'll be adding Disney Springs to my list because they're adding a Christmas Tree Trail through the shopping, dining, and entertainment complex. Take a stroll through the Marketplace amongst 15 beautifully decorated Disney themed holiday trees.
At Epcot, Disney's Candlelight Processional shares the story of Christmas three times a night in the America Gardens Theatre. Celebrity narrators include favorites, such as Neil Patrick Harris,and Whoopi Goldberg, are accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and choir to evoke the spirit of the season. It's a classic Disney tradition that's celebrated coast to coast. Candlelight dinner packages are available through Disneyworld.com/holiday to ensure seating on the night you'll attend.
Jungle Bell, Jingle Bam at Disney's Hollywood Studios is home to a brand new nighttime show bringing merriment, music and sparkle to the Park. On, above and around the Chinese Theater guests will experience state-of-the-art projections, special effects, and fireworks. The immersive experience has a brand new musical score with traditional holiday tunes that ring in the spirit of the season so much, it may even snow.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a hard ticket special event at the Magic Kingdom is a great way to get into the holiday mood on your Disney vacation. Castle dream lights sparkle and light up the night for guests celebrating with Mickey. From cookies and cocoa, to the characters in their festive finery, and the unforgettable Once Upon a Christmas Parade, this holiday party makes will have you feeling like you're on Santa's "nice list."
