Mulch, Sweat 'n Shears at Hollywood Studios

These aren't your normal landscapers! Mulch, Sweat & Shears is a fan favorite at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This fun rock band is officially known as Los Lawn Boys outside of Disney World -- but when they're playing on the Streets of America, they are known as Mulch, Sweat 'n Shears.

Mulch Sweat 'n Shears specializes in covers of some of your favorite rock songs -- think "Life in the Fast Lane," "Jump," "Free Ride" and so much more. The band is beloved favorite of Disney guests, and is often listed along with Off Kilter, 'Mo Rockin' and British Invasion in Epcot as one of their favorite entertainment options in Disney World.

Mulch Sweat 'n Shears also has a nice fan following on their Los Lawn Boys Facebook fan page.

I saw them in October 2010 and got picked out of the crowd to play the cowbell. I had a great time until he asked me to show everyone my best dance move. Um, really, I am a 51 yr old white woman . . . I have no best dance move! Somewhere lots of tourists have really bad photos of me shaking my groove thang!

I have seen them a number of times and always have a good time.

I surprised my kids with a trip to Disney for Christmas, and we saw Mulch, Sweat and Shears almost every night! My son is learning to play guitar and bass, and was fascinated with them. We YouTube the group now as well, since we're up to our necks in snow now, and fondly remembering our wonderful Christmas! We can't wait for our next trip.

The first time we experienced M,S & S was in 2006. They "serenaded" my 19 year old daughter and kept asking if she could join the band. They were loads of fun!

We were at Hollywood Studios in September (2013) and saw them then. Everyone had a great time watching them in fact we planned a lot of our visit to the park round their performances. I thought it was great that they could pick on almost anyone in the audience in fact really no one was safe. But the good part about it was that no one was laughing at the 'victim' but they were laughing with them. This shows the empathy and skill of the band performers, I was a member of the audience the 'brother/manager.' Approached my wife who was quietly watching the show just as it was beginning and did the introduction pretty much in her face. Generally Sharon would hate anything like this but she really laughed and afterwards said how much she enjoyed the whole experience. I would encourage anyone who goes to Hollywood studios to go and watch them, but prepared no one is just a quiet onlooker.
