Walt Disney World Will See Eleven Weddings Today
Walt Disney World is a wedding ceremony destination for about a thousand couples every year, and today the resort will be full of wedding bells. In honor of today's date, 11-11-11, Walt Disney World will be hosting the weddings of eleven couples from eleven different states.
Korri McFann, Worldwide Marketing & Business Development Director, Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons, says:
Our couples have always loved sequential number wedding dates and we are already beginning to hold space for 12/12/12.Couples have even moved venues to make sure their wedding stays on one of these very special dates.
Disney estimates 40,000 couples have tied the knot a Disney-related venue, whether at Walt Disney World, Disneyland or on board a Disney Cruise Line Ship.

My best friend just sent in her contract for her Disney Wedding next year and getting her date and time gave her fits! It can be a pretty stressful process to go through depending on how many other people want your date as well. Sometimes they even go to a lottery. It's pretty competitive any time of year, I bet it was a mad house for the 11th!

I went to the Grand Floridian on 11/11 and saw one of the couples by the wedding pavillion while on monorail
