The Magical Experience Of Disney Dining..

Good Morning Everyone, especially all you lovers of fine dining...Here's my thing...Last night while playing at a wedding. At our interval I was talking to a friend who is a chef and just purchased a very nice restaurant in town, and the conversation turned to holidays and of course my upcoming trip to Disney, and when I mentioned the Food and Wine festival will be on during my stay, he said that dining out would be a huge important part if he were to visit WDW..I told him of my 7 restaurants that I had opted for ( he has never been to wdw ) and he said I should have included a fish restaurant to my ADR list ( now I'am feeling guilty as my DW loves fish and now think of trying to add one onto my list ) ...So now at last, to my questions..I have two..Number one..How important is a fine dining experience to yourselfs when booking your vacation.?..Is it high on your list.?..And number two..If you had to pick just one fish restaurant at Disney, which one would you pick.?...I know I've asked about favourite fish restaurants in the past, but I need just one recommendation..Thanks everyone..

Hi: As we usually travel to Disney World with extended family or friends, we love The Coral Reef restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing, and the menu choices are varied and delicious!

Olivia's at Old Key West is the only WDW seafood restaurant at which I've had the pleasure of dining, but I highly recommend it.

If salmon is your favorite fish to eat, then Artist Point. Otherwise, I think Flying Fish or Narccoosee's would be your best bets.

Flying Fish is fantastic but I do have to throw Artist Point in as my vote. Last year I had a halibut that was out of this world. May have been my favorite dish of last years trip.

As we've gotten older and the importance of rides and commando touring has faded, we most definitely have become more focused on the dining adventures - as well as all the other more laid back activities available at WDW.

We LOVE Artist Point and Narcoossee's best. Flying Fish is good, too, but we have never been as taken by their fish as we have at other restaurants. As a matter of fact, the BEST fish dish ever was at Jiko - a crusted corvina filet with a tomato beurre blanc.

Nacoossee also has a salmon that is rated very well. We know this because the wife of the couple we are traveling with is a salmon LOVER and so every restaurant we will be at has it on the menu. I doubt she'll do it every meal, but at least she has the option. awesome

I'd vote for Flying Fish if I were only doing one seafood restaurant, but as a second choice we had a fabulous meal at Coral Reef this trip!

Sometimes I think the only reason we go on vacation is to try new restaurants.

I'm ashamed to say that we have still never been to Narcoossee, but we had a butter poached monkfish at Citrico a few months ago that we still talk about.
