20th Anniversary Trip!!

I am so excited to have found this forum! I am finally getting the honeymoon I asked for 20 years ago. I had a great honeymoon back then, but I WANTED a Disneyworld honeymoon!!

We will be celebrating 20 years married in May and taking our trip WITHOUT CHILDREN in July. Can't wait!

This will be only my 4th trip to Disneyworld (2 to Disneyland as a teenager), but I have logged so many hours planning those other 3 that I know my way around really well.

However, I have not been since the fp changes and I'm a little nervous. Plus I know touring without children will be a completely different experience! Glad to learn the ropes on this trip when I think it'll be so much easier

We are going inexpensive and staying at Pop Century.

I am looking forward to going to the parks without strollers, multiple backpacks, children needing to go to the bathroom, a million water bottles, and feeding others before myself. Lol. Seriously, that is it. Of course I have my fav rides, too many to name, but I am just looking forward to all those days with my awesome husband. We love to travel together and this is one of my many dream trips with him.

Wohoo! and congrats on the anniversary trip! I would say make it a relaxing trip...lots of adult beverages around the World Showcase, resort hopping, etc. Things that you wouldn't do with the kiddos and will help you beat the July heat (and crowds)!

Thanks everybody for the welcome! I am VERY much looking forward to this trip. We were talking about it late last night starting the planning of which rides we want to do, which parks we want to visit, and it just makes me happy.

Thinking of doing park hoppers for the first time because my husband wants to spend more time at Epcot and I think that might be the best way.....still deciding.

Anyway, looking forward to hearing more from you all as I plan!

My husband and I recently did our first adult only trip in November for my 40th. You are going to love it! We also stayed at POP for that trip. It's a great resort being a value.

Can't wait to hear more about your plans.
