Epcot Musts!

DH and I are only going to be in Epcot (I think) and I want to do the new Test Track, La Halles Bakery and Tutto Gusto Wine Bar. What are your "Musts" for Epcot?

There are 3 rides at Epcot that don't get much play but I love them.

  • Figment's Imagination
  • The Mexico Ride
  • The Norway Ride

DH loves Soarin. And we will finally get to try Test Track in May - yay I love spending time in the store at the Japanese pavilion - you always see interesting (and sometimes downright strange) things there.

I really like the three of those too! I also count Soarin', Test Track (though I haven't tried the new one), and Living with the Land as my must-do's.

We love Soarin as our favorite ride. Chef de France is our favorite restraunt. Our favorite illuminations spot has never been listed and I am keeping it that way. Lol. Funny how we all find the perfect spot for that.

Are you not going to try my most favorite snack, the Kringla?

The musts at Epcot certainly should include: Soarin', Sums of all Thrills, and Spaceship Earth.

Soarin, test track, living with the land, spaceship earth, French bakery Wink Teppan edo Laughing out loud I could quite happily never see illuminations again, I guess I just don't 'get' the globe bit and find myself bored everytime.

Soarin', Spaceship Earth, and The Living Seas

But my favorite thing to do at Epcot is eat and drink. So...school bread in Norway, margaritas in Mexico, dessert in France, brats in Germany. Man, I love food.

You simply must try it! For our family, Kringla is a must-do. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the sweet smell of freshly baked confections. You then gaze upon a selection of delicious treats, wondering if you can choose just one! My suggestion is to try the "school bread". It's delicious, but not overly sweet. wink

I love to get the brown pamphlet and know exactly what entertainmet is taking place when, so I don't just radomly stuble upon it. My favorite of those is British Revolution.

The Food and Wine Festival.

And if I happened to find myself visiting Epcot at another time of year, I'd cobble together my own Food and Wine Festival at the counter-service restaurants around the World Showcase with a table-service meal (or several) thrown in.
