Favorite cast members

So as we are relaxing at the WL after a hot day in the park I am wondering if anyone has favorite cast members? This trip we now have a favorite bartender at WL named Tom. He was so wonderful and we also now request Jody at the Wave for breakfast. Oh and not to be left out Michael at Narcoossees was amazing and so much fun to talk to. We also have long time favorites like Ricardo at Yachtsman and Sandrine at Artist Point.

One of my favourite ride is the Jungle Cruise, last year we got a cast member who stood out from all the other JC cast members.(as these guys n gals tend to be very good). He was called Mikey, or Captain Mickey. Really, really funny and looked like he really enjoyed his job. We said to one of the supervisors(?) near the ride. The next time we queued for the ride, Capt. Mikey was the announcer and he was still funny. laugh

Patrick at the Garden Grill was great! Best server we've ever had and I made sure to email Disney and let them know mickey
We are going back in October so I'm really hoping he's there so we can request him crossfingers

Although Patrick stood out, we've never had a poor experience with any CM. They have all been great to us and helped make our vacations magical muchlove

Our server, Mo, on the Disney Fantasy was wonderful! He was previously a bartender at Rose and Crown in EPCOT. We would recommend him to anyone.

Another CM, do not recall name, actually - she was the park operations manager at DHS....She opened up the store Sid's for us one evening so we could make several purchases. We had visited several times throughout our stay and Sid's was closed. They keep weird hours since they rent the space from Disney and are not Disney owned. Sid's is the store on your left when walking in the park, it looks like an old house/cabin and they sell movie paraphernalia.

We asked when it would be open because we wanted to buy several items. She promised us the next day it would be open at 9AM, but we were leaving on the Fantasy. She was like, well, I will open it up for you guys if you know what you are planning on purchasing. It was wonderful and I did email Disney about her. She did not have to do that. It's funny the things you can receive when you do not ask or are not expecting it! awesome

awesome

The one that stands out in my mind is Dorothy. My server at Cape May Cafe breakfast. She was awesome. I was solo for this breakfast. Every time a character came by my table, she was there to take my picture.

This is Jim. Jim has been playing the piano at Casey's in the Magic Kingdom for as long as I can remember. He's such a lovely guy, with a smile that lights up a room. Always friendly to talk to, I can remember chatting with him when I was about knee high to a grasshopper. He's a staple of my Disney experience.

We had a wait staff/cm at Yak and Yeti that made our whole dinner a blast. On our way out of the park we stopped and the front desk to comment AND we contacted the Landry Company to also commend her.

Let's see. On my last trip back in March 2013, I was the very last person in line for a character meet and greet set for Peter Pan. So I got a little more attention than usual from the character attendant. Her name was Ally and that was probably the first time I got to interact with a CM, something I never did before. Long story short, I did tell her how I waited 22 years to finally meet Peter Pan and how I was unable to find him on previous trips. Needless to say, I think Peter Pan might have overheard my conversation with her so the meet and greet I got to experience was a little longer than usual but it was worth it!

We had a server at Coral Reef a couple of weeks ago who was absolutely fabulous. I feel terrible that I can't remember his name, but he was so friendly and chatty without being overbearing. DH and I are both younger and look even younger then we actually are, plus we had my teenage sisters with us this trip so most of the service we got at the table service restaurants left something to be desired. It's like they had already made up their mind about us that we weren't going to tip well because we're young (which by the way I left a 20% tip at almost every meal). Our server at Coral Reef was anything but and treated us great and was super attentive. DH was not feeling well after Mission Space and was in the bathroom for a bit when the entree was served and our server kept coming back and asking if he could take DH's salmon back and have it remade since it had been sitting out so long. He definitely did not need to do that and I thought it was super nice that he took it on as his responsibility.
