A Little Site Housekeeping

Hi all!

I have spent the past 5 hours clearing out spam from the website, and have several hours left to go. Ideally you all haven't seen any of this and everything is still working as normal. I tried to be very careful in what I was marking for deletion. However - I am human and in blowing away thousands of spam comments it's possible for me to make a mistake and hit a post or two.

This was a routine bit of housekeeping. If for any reason you notice any of your posts missing, I sincerely apologize. You haven't offended anyone I promise.

On the rare occasion when I see spam before it's deleted, I'll think of all the spam I never had to see thanks to you. I'm sure the ratio is something like dozens or even hundreds of spams I never see for each one I do. Thanks very much for making the whole experience a lot more fun.

Thanks so much everyone. I really do love sharing this part of my life with everyone here. Not the spam - the Disney! mickey 5 hours of spam in one day is quite extreme (I think a bot hit us) but it does take daily up keep. The other mods and I do try to get things cleared out as fast as possible to keep the user experience running smoothly.
