Mandara spa at the swan and dolphin

Has anyone used the spa there before? I've just seen a brilliant deal on groupon for a spa day with massage or facial for $99 so I'm debating switching from the Grand Floridian Senses. It would be a hefty saving even with annual pass discount at senses and a longer treatment (80 min instead of 50) but is it very sub par? It's a present for my mum and mil too so I want it to be special for them.

Anyone been to both?

I have been to the Mandara Spa, back in 2008. It is very beautiful and luxurious, but I think very expensive compared to UK prices for Spa treatments.

When I have had massages in UK they have always been with girls who are beauticians. At Mandara Spa the masseurs (sp?) were male. Although the guy was very professional, I felt really uncomfortable with this. I know this is just me being a prude but it just didn't feel right being half naked, shut in a small room on my own with a strange man, yes I know I need to get over myself and live a little, but to me it was weird and not something I would repeat.

I haven't been myself but Mandara is a huge name in the spa industry and I wouldn't hesitate the switch if the deal is that good. The Grand Californian has a Mandara Spa and it's stunning.
