Good Morning Folks...Phew...Let me sit down for a moment...Well you know how the song goes..The trolley parade sings " The most magical place on earth is here." ...I've just opened a E- Mail this morning from an old friend who attended one of my Disney house parties last year..I should explain to new comers that I host Disney parties about twice a year for friends who love all things Disney...Anyway this couple have a 8 year old girl who, how can I explain this, well she has this inferior thing where she doesn't mix with other kids, she sulks 24/7..Her appetite is non existent, her parents have taken her to see a specialist who says she'll grow out of it..At our party, she just sat in a corner and watched TV..Never spoke a word, whilst the rest of the kids played away..It was kinda scary and weird..So let's get to the really scary stuff...They have just recently returned from their first ever Disney vacation...They had saved up for two years and went for 14 nights at AoA...I should also explain their little girl gets private tuition as she just cried non stop when put into school..Where was I...Oh Yeh..The scary stuff...Like a miracle she has come out of, not my words, the parents words..Her coma...
From day one they noticed her smiling and laughing out loud, then dancing along to the parades..talking non stop to the characters when getting her photos taken..In fact at night, she wouldn't go to sleep, she kept on telling her mum and dad about the great day she had,and couldn't wait until tomorrow....Now that their back home she is still going on about her vacation..Her birthday is next week and she wants a big birthday party with kids her age that she never used to talk to..Mum and Dad are still in shock..." She won't stop talking " they told me..Even the neighbours are jaw drop struck about this transformation...I replied to them saying " It's nothing short of a miracle." Now their saving like hell for a return trip in 2015...And yes..She is now attending school and doing great..also eating like a horse..Can I explain it.?...Nope..Can their doctor explain it.?..Nope..Can any of you out their explain it.?

brought a tear to my eye, if only the NHS could prescribe a Disney holiday x

Disney *is* a miracle worker! I agree that it's all the love in the parks...the positive vibes and good will. I know that I (and DH) felt a great improvement in our mental health upon our return home, after a visit in January.
So that is why most of the time I go with my girlfriend (as he went last year and doesn't want to go back again). So I think in my next life before I say yes to lets get married am going to ask if he loves Disney and if he says no...I will have to move on.
