I understand it is down for refurbishment at the moment and heard it was due to reopen fall 2012.
Does anyone know of what date this is likely to be, and does anyone think it is likely to be before 15th September? Will there be any information on the Disney World Website I could check while I am there?

I read likewise, and I am not trying to be a wise guy but I would say the chances are between slim and none. Maybe a week or two before scheduled opening and you would have a chance for a soft opening opportunity, but not a month or two. Unless you have some Imagineers who double as miracle workers.
And from the sounds of it... if they do finish it mid november... it might be a miracle anyways with all the stuff they plan on doing to it as well.

I thought it was a long shot really.
I've done it many times in the past, however again this is something Jess has not done. I really don't understand how she missed this but it gives us an excuse to go back again next year lol.

we are there in November and are seriously sad, this is our favourite ride and one of the reasons we decided on staying at an EPCOT resort
