Tusker House vs Yak and Yeti

I normally eat at Yak & Yeti when I'm in Animal Kingdom, but I'm thinking of trying Tusker House for the new Character Dinner there. I'd love to hear reviews of dinner at Tusker House, does anyone have experience in that? I would love to reserve for Tiffin's but I'm not holding my breath that it will be open on time.

I've never done Tusker House because I just can't tear myself away from Yak & Yeti. So much love for that place! muchlove

I know! It's really one of my favorites.

We lunched at Tusker House a few years ago and enjoyed it very much, but it's what we called "Boma Lite." Boma is a much, much better buffet. If it were me, I'd visit Yak and Yeti inside the park and then do Boma for dinner some evening.

We did lunch at Tusker House and enjoyed it. The food was great but we did feel the characters seemed a bit rushed ( this couldve been because we ate at Garden Grill earlier in the trip and the characters there were very good! So if we hadn't had that to compare too, we might not have felt that way).

We're hoping to try Yak and Yeti in October!

We are going to book a tucker house breakfast for our October trip this year. But like you, I find it hard to tear myself away from yak and yeti
