Vote Your Resort Goodie..

Tuesday morning..Had my coffee and smiled at today's food blog review...Ah, my beloved PORS..It is reviewing the Cherry Cobbler...Well there you go...Been 3 times and never tried it...Yes there is a mention for my secret desire.." The Magic Cookie Bar." ...However this got me thinking...AKL has it's famous " Zebra Domes "...The Polynesian with it's " Tonga Toast " ...What would you vote for at your favourite resort..Just one item that you would be crazy to miss...This year is our first at WL and I've read about their " Bananas Foster " so it's on my must try list...What would you vote for.?...Just one.. awesome Yes..Adult drink is included.. biggrin

Now I believe this question was asked last year, by an old friend..However since I'am visiting quite a few other resorts this October, I need a up to date list...Plus with new members joining each week, maybe I've missed out on something new.. cool

well.... seeing as I didn't like the zebra domes, plus don't eat bananas (so no tonga toast) I haven't really had anything that I couldn't live without... unless you count dole whip at the Poly Wink

The coffee shop at the Contemporary Resort (Contemporary Grounds) has what may be the best Chocolate Chunk Cookie I have ever eaten.

Last time I was at Saratoga Springs the Artists Palate had some rockin' house made chips (crisps?).

Beignets at POFQ are a must.

When staying on AKL Club Level, I could eat my weight in chocolate croissant.

I love the pork potstickers/dumplings at 'Ohana - you know, the appetizer ones that come with the chicken wings. Dang, they are good. I hope the ones at Kona Cafe are as yummy.

If it's only limited to resort food, I would normally say Tonga Toast because it's the fan favorite breakfast everywhere I read! But I would throw in the zebra domes at the AKL and the honey coriander chicken wings at Ohana (You can even get them at the Tambu Lounge, too.) Funny thing is, I haven't had either of these signature goodies yet. sad But...I vow to have all three on my next trip and Tonga Toast tops the bucket list of food!

At WL it has to be the cobbler. I would never go without having it at least once if not twice. If you aren't planning on eating at Artist Point you can get it at Territory Lounge.

Hmmm. . . Creme brulee anywhere, but Kim says Jiko's Christmas chocolate peppermint is best. I like them all. . .

Oh, and a Mickey bar is always welcome. . .

Never had the ones at O'Hara (remedying this in a couple of weeks though!) but we enjoyed the ones at Kona!

I don't like zebra domes or bananas either! Had Tonga Toast for a music trip breakfast at Planet Hollywood and they apologized as they were out of bananas and replaced it with strawberries. It was wonderful and I thought that is how it was made until I read the recipe! laugh
