They are good, and Pirategirl, there is a lot of meat on those things, they aren't just a bone. They are meal in themselves.
I always think that they taste more like ham than like Turkey.
Me too Kristen! I thought I was the only one haha.

If they served just the meat on a plate, would you try it? I say this because they are SO tasty! I used to cringe when I saw people eating them. Then I saw them featured on the Food Network and decided to try one next visit. Once I tried one, I was forever changed. Now I get at least one each time we go.
Even when I am at home I don't eat meat on a bone or with skin. It's boneless, skinless chicken breasts all the way for me. At Christmas time I won't even eat the dark meat that has been carved off the turkey (bone and skin removed) because I find it oily and squishy and gross.
So the thought of mowing down on a big old hunk of turkey with skin, bone, grilse, and other odd bits still attached is enough to creep me right out!

This exactly. I'm very picky when it comes to meat and if I get a bad or "squishy" part I'm absolutely done eating all of it. I don't like dark meat and I don't like meat straight off the bone. I can't even eat bone-in chicken wings because it just grosses me out. I would definitely be more apt to try it if the meat were carved off and served on a plate.

Yep, not really much of a carnivore either. And although I do sometimes eat white meat chicken or turkey, I just cannot stomach the dark meat. Hence the yuck.
