While there are many restaurants around the Walt Disney World Resort that offer fantastic seafood dishes, may travelers are more comfortable getting their seafood from someplace that specializes in it. Here are 5 fantastic restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort that specialize in serving up the bounty of the sea.
The atmosphere at this unique Disney location is worth the trip alone, as diners eat beneath windows looking in to the largest inland saltwater environment ever built. While enjoying a seasonal selection of fresh seafood, you may see sharks, turtles, rays, and even a scuba diving Mickey swimming by. Coral Reef is one table service credit on the Disney Dining Plan, and Tables in Wonderland is accepted.
The Boathouse, Disney Springs
A newcomer to Walt Disney World, the Boathouse opened at Disney Springs in late 2015. These folks are serious about their seafood, from the gorgeous raw bar, to the Original Lobster Bake for Two and everything in between. Run by Gibsons, and you had better believe that it's just as amazing when ordering up the steaks. The Boat House is a Disney Signature Dining destination, which one meal will cost you two table service credits on the Disney Dining Plan.
Todd English's BlueZoo, Walt Disney World Dolphin
This award winning restaurant features international coastal cuisine with a menu designed by Master Chef Todd English. This fine dining experience is posh and modern. The Disney Dining Plan is not accepted at Blue Zoo, but Tables in Wonderland is welcome.
Cape May Cafe Clambake, Disney's Beach Club Resort
This seafood buffet may not be the most posh of the underwater culinary retreats, but the team throws down a beach goers clam bake delight in a casual family atmosphere. Cape May Cafe is one table service credit on the Disney Dining Plan, and Table in Wonderland is accepted.
Narcoossee's, Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney's flagship resort is all about seaside elegance, and Narcoossee's is no exception. Located shore side on the Seven Seas Lagoon, the atmosphere here is fashionable and the food delicious. While seafood takes center stage the menu also offers a respectable showing of chicken, beef, and pasta dishes. If you time your dinner right (around 8:00pm) you may even catch a glimpse of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks from the wrap around porch. Narcossee's is a Disney Signature Dining destination, which one meal will cost you two table service credits on the Disney Dining Plan, Tables in Wonderland is also accepted.
Just one last note to leave you with - Fulton's Crab House has long been one of the most popular spots for Disney travelers to head for an excellent seafood dinner, however the fan favorite will be undergoing a major renovation and overhaul lasting from early April to late November 2016. While we're excited to see what the fine folks from Levy Restaurants have in store for the landmark restaurant, in the mean time, seafood loving guests will have to make reservations elsewhere.

Great post, Kristen! I've heard great things about The Boathouse - Disney Springs is certainly adding much more variety to dining at Disney.

Narcoossee's is our favorite special occasion restaurant. We celebrated our 35th anniversary there and they made it very memorable.

Flying Fish needs to be on this list...it is much better than all of these except Blue Zoo (arguably the best restaurant of any kind on property) and possibly Boathouse. Cape May and Coral Reed (the atmosphere notwithstanding) are very mediocre and not worth the time IMO.
