After a several months long refurbishment, the BoardWalk Bakery at Disney's BoardWalk Inn has finally reopened! And it's bigger and better than before.

Meaty, Savory Snacks at the Magic Kingdom

The other day my dear husband too a look at my "must eat" list for the Magic Kingdom and made note that it was full of sweet ice cream, cookies, and pastries. I have no problem with this, but he thought that if we were going to be snacking our way through the Park that it might be a good idea to add a little protein to the day. So in honor of my husband, and all the rest of the carnivores out there, here's a list just a couple meaty delights you can find that have a little more style than the typical theme park hot dog.

Kona Island Sushi Bar at Disney's Polynesian Resort

In the lobby of Disney's Polynesian Resort, just to the side of the monorail station sits Kona Island. A coffee and pastry counter in the morning, from 5:00pm until 10:00pm in the evening this location turns in to casual sushi bar. There are a handful of seats at the bar side counter, as well as a second counter stretching down the back window towards Kona Cafe.

Four Fantastic In Park Breakfasts at Walt Disney World

When talking about Disney Dining there's often a big focus on what's for dinner, sometimes we tend to forget that there are other meals in the day. At heart, I'm a breakfast girl, and some of you out there may be as well, after all "they" say it's our most important meal. I love all sorts of breakfast foods, and with late nights at the park my family tends to sleep in and often we don't even get out of the room before 10:00am.

A Grown Up Princess Breakfast at Akershus

I love a good character meal, and over my last several trips to Walt Disney World I've made a point of trying a new one every time. In October I made reservations for the Princess Breakfast at Akershus in Epcot's Norway Pavilion. I must admit I was a little reluctant to book here because I'm not always the most adventurous eater, and the thought of Norwegian food made me a little nervous.
