Celeb Meals Coming To WDW As Part of Food & Wine Fest

The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is just around the corner, and this year there are a few meals with celebrities planned as part of the fest. In October, guests can choose to rub elbows and break bread with the likes of Cat Cora, John Lasseter, Andrew Zimmern and the Voltaggio brothers this October.

First up is a five-course dinner with Cat Cora at her Disney Boardwalk restaurant, Kouzzina by Cat Cora. Guests can sign up for either the October 2 or October 4 meal. Cost is $170 per person.

Jiko Planning a Wine Dinner for August 16

It's a guest favorite at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and now it's planning a special wine dinner. We're talking about Jiko and its plans to host a wine dinner August 16.

The folks at Jiko have put together a 6-course feast complete with wine pairings. Those heading out to the dinner can look forward to the following menu:

Butter-poached South African Lobster Tail Lobster Bisque, Imoya, and Saffron Cream
Buffalo Samosas Potato, Sweet Corn, and Fig Atjar
"Chola Tikka"Sambal Spiced Chickpea, Tamarind, with Dhania Chutney

Orlando Magical Dining Month Coming This Fall

Heading to the Orlando area this September? Need some dining guidance? You're in luck! Turns out, September 2012 is the 7th annual Magical Dining Month in which hungry patrons can grab a great three-course meal for just $30 at several Orlando-area restaurants - including 3 on Disney property.

Great Movie Ride Dinner Coming In June

What's better than being able to go behind the scenes in the Disney Hollywood Studio's attraction the Great Movie Ride? Being able to pair an in-depth look at the ride with a dinner. Slated as the June event for "Tables in Wonderland," the Great Movie Ride Dinner is planned for Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16 from 8:00 - 10:30 PM.

Guests partaking in this special event will be able to access the Great Movie Ride after it has closed for the day and have a delicious three-part meal. Details on the meal are as follows:

New Buffet Trialed at Disney's Coronado Springs

Guests going to grab a bite to eat at the Pepper Market, an eating destination in Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, may have noticed a change recently. A new buffet concept has been rolled out and trialed with guests there in place of the Market's food court.

While the Pepper Market looks much the same, the change comes in that guests will pay a set price for an all-you-care-to-eat buffet filled with many food dishes instead of paying for different items at different stations.

Change is Coming for Advance Dining Reservation Cancellations

News out here in cyberspace has it that come October 26, the policy regarding the cancellation of an Advance Dining Reservation (or ADR) will change.

Here's what guests need to know: if you make a reservation after October 26 to select restaurants and fail to use said reservation or cancel it, you'll be charged $10. Also, guests wanting to cancel an ADR must give a full day's notice in order to forgo the fee. Guests should also be prepared to start giving their credit card number when they make an ADR on or after October 26.

Halloween Fun at Fort Wilderness

Mickey's Backyard BBQ, that guest favorite character dinner at Disney's Fort Wilderness, will be all decked out for Halloween this year and can be a nice option for guests who want to get into the holiday spirit.

The October 31 version of the BBQ will feature characters decked out in their Halloween costumes. Guests can join in the fun as well and can come in their own costume.
