Here are a few of our top picks for good suds at Disney World:
Big River Grille and Brewing Works at the Boardwalk. Part of a small chain of brewery restaurants, Big River makes several of their own signature beers on-site: Southern Flyer Light Lager, Gadzooks Pilsner, a seasonal beer, Steamboat Pale Ale, Rocket Red Ale, and Brewer's Select.
Rose and Crown Pub at the UK Pavillion in Epcot. This is where you can find some hearty UK brews. A beer sampler is available -- the "Imperial Sampler" can include samples of Bass Ale, Guinness Stout, Boddingtons English Pub Ale, Stella Artois, Strongbow Cider, and Harp Lager. This is also where you can find the Hat Lady and Carl the Croc-Wrestling Bartender. It's worth a stop just for the chance to possibly meet Carl alone!
Raglan Road Irish Pub at Downtown Disney. Authentic Irish eats, beer and entertainment -- what more could you ask for? It's also one of the new places at Disney World open late, sometimes until 2 a.m. Guinness, Smithwick's, Harp, and Bass can all be found here. If you're a Guinness fan, try their Guinness brown bread and other breads served with a Guinness Reduction Dipping Sauce.
Biergarten at the Germany Pavillion in Epcot. This is where you can pig out on German specialties and wash it all down with a German beers like Altenmunster Oktoberfest and Radeberger Pilsner. If you want to try a little bit of everything, a German beer flight is available.
