The Force is getting stronger at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Star Wars Launch Bay opened Tuesday, December 1. The walk-through attraction features movie memorabilia, props, and meet-and-greets with Darth Vader and Chewbacca.

New ‘Star Wars’ Experiences to Debut in December at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The Force is strong at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Starting December 1, guests at the theme park will be able to experience Star Wars every day, beyond just riding Star Tours: The Adventure Continues over and over again.

Star Wars Launch Bay And Much More Coming Soon!

In addition to the big announcement about a total Star Wars Expansion at Disney's Hollywood Studios, there was some more exciting galactic news about what will be coming up in the next year to further incorporate the Star Wars Universe into the bi-coastal Disney Parks. Walt Disney World will get a number of these Star War enhancements for guests to enjoy while waiting for the new land to open.

It's no secret, Disney's Hollywood Studios is undergoing some major construction with many previous Guest areas closed down and blocked off to make wake for new adventures. Construction - Disney fan has a love/hate relationship with it. This fan-favorite attraction based on the Star Wars universe opened on December 15, 1989 and went through a major overhaul in 2011.
