Disney Wonder in Hawaii

"The Disney Wonder called on Honolulu, Hawaii for the first-time, sailing past iconic Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. The Disney Wonder is in the middle of a special 15-night Hawaiian cruise with stops in Hilo, Hawaii; Kahului, Maui; Honolulu, Oahu; Nawiliwili, Kauai and Ensenada, Mexico. Disney Cruise Line is offering a second 14-night Hawaiian voyage that will depart from the Port of Los Angeles on October 14, 2012."

This sounds so amazing to me. I would LOVE to do a Disney Cruise to Hawaii! Two weeks though, we don't usually vacation for that long. I wonder if I saved up three years of DVC points if we could cut the cost enough. I may hav eto do some math to see if this will veer be a possibility, or if I should just hang it up. LOL.

I haven't been to Hawaii since i was 6 and would love to go back. Have you been to Hawaii? Would you consider going with Disney?

I took a solo trip to Hawaii for my 40th birthday. I would love to go back. I would consider a Disney cruise for the return trip.

We are considering doing the October cruise to Hawaii. I had quite a few clients traveling on the Hawaii cruise that just came back. All had great things to say about it (well, other than some rough seas.)
Two weeks on any Disney ship would be great in my book, but even better visiting Hawaii.

sadly not cruising to Hawaii but we're looking at going there next year or the year after. Its a big deal going there from the UK, its such a long way and a huge price, i have wanted to go since i was about 6 years old - when i did a school project on hawaii.

We went to Honolulu in 2006 it was beautiful. I'd like to go to Aulani one day and if my DW wasn't a teacher we'd be able to take mid year vacations.
One day biggrin

I went to Hawaii when I graduated from high school.. many many moons ago. We're planning on going next year for our 25th wedding anniversary and of course stay at the Aulani Resort.

We'd love to go some day. Though never having cruised before, I'm not sure our first would be a 14-day one, just in case Tongue

I think we'd give serious consideration to a Disney Hawaii vacation. We're still thinking about plans for next year.

I wouldn't really want to cruise to Hawaii because I hate that on cruises you are on a timeline and this summer when we went to Hawaii there were so many amazing things we wanted to do. BUT I do think it's a bit more cost effective so I would definitely consider it for a return trip some day!

I think that when it comes to Hawaii, the nice thing about time management it that you travel overnight while your asleep. So once you're at an island, you can dedicate your waking hours to it, you don't have to waste any time sitting around in an airport waiting for your hop to the next island or checking in/out of your hotel. On a cruise it's all rolled into one. That might make time management more efficient, depending on when you're in and out of the ports.
