October trippers.....

We can now say that we go 'this month'

I can't believe it's here already! I remember when I was the only one with a trip planned in 2012, it's been booked so long, feels like its been forever coming... But the time is almost here and I can barely contain my excitement the bags are packed and ready to go, the house has been cleaned from top to bottom (am I the only one who does this just before going away?) and am now counting down the hours till Wednesday, when we leave our house and make our way to twilight check in and then to stay at the in laws house as they live right by the airport

Woohoo!

Ps I realise it's not quite October in the US yet, but it is here in the UK

We are kindred souls! I do the same thing - it's so nice to come home to a clean house. It makes the vacation last a little bit longer.

I did online check-in last night - I have checked and rechecked all our confirmation numbers, and the suitcases are out.

We have been cleaning, laundry and stuff. I mowed the yard today and will try again before we leave, I hate coming home to a nasty yard. Luggage is out and most things are packed. Even the shorts that are too big because come next week I will probably be glad I brought them..lol
All numbers have been checked and rechecked. I'm tired of planning I'm ready for some fun

Yay for us October travelers!! I have been planning this trip for over a year and I'm so glad its finally here. Its getting harder and harder to keep the secret and I'm about to have a stroke. Please everyone pray that this will stay a surprise for 6 more days I am praying for all of us to have beautiful weather and safe trips!!

Woohoo 19 days left
The only downside is DW will not be on this trip
I'm setting clothes set aside and will pack next weekend. I can't wait to pack my pirate costume!

Dee, we're doing pirates too this trip! Got the costumes for the niece and nephew at Walmart yesterday and ordered pirate vests and bandanas for the adults on line yesterday. Can't wait!

It's "this month" everywhere now! So with 19 days to go, it's time to start getting ready. Yes, I will clean the house, also. Print off my several checklists. Stop mail, buy trip stuff, do laundry, start packing (the shorts and summer stuff can go in now, fat chance I'll need them at home in the next three weeks). Triple and quadruple check trip schedules. Make sure everything is set up for the cats. Do the preregistration and preboarding stuff. Etc., etc.

I want these 19 days GONE! But at the same time, I'm stressing a little because there's SO much to do before we go and only 19 days to get it done. At least it's happy stress.

14 days!!!!yay!!! Yard cleanup this weekend and training my son to look after our critters. Then the house cleanup and packing and oh I am sooooooooooo excited!!!!
I don't rightly know if my husband even needs a costume....we were camping a few weekends ago and with his long hair, ear ring and bandana one young fella camping across from us asked him if he was a pirate!!!
