The Yacht Club! Home of the Yachtsman Steakhouse. They have a butcher on site 7 days a week that cuts the meat daily. We checked in and got called right away and were shown to our table. Our waiter was John and he was an incredibly fun waiter. We ordered some drinks and started a wonderful night. Here some pictures of dinner.

We are going to the Yachtsman Steakhouse in December after our 3 day cruise and I am looking forward to the beef.

I have a question about the platter in the picture labeled dscn0173.... The item that is second from the left in the top row looks like a little alligator that has thrown up; what is it really? yuck

You got it Bill, that's a little alligator that threw up!

Actually a Morel Conserva ( Morel Mushroom). The description of the cheese plate is on the left, trying to find it to post it better.

Okay dinner was rather excellent, and John our server made it even better, considering the amount of times he brought me a Manhattan, there was 2 cherries per drink! He was good. Cheers John!

We finished up and headed out for a stroll around the grounds, sat in the rocking chairs and looked out over the pool and people watched for a while. Then headed over to the Boardwalk Baker to check out the selection and maybe get something for morning (or late night).

Oh and here are pictures from the outside of our rooms from the Boardwalk if anyone is interested. Ours was the blue section, 4th floor double balcony. I don't know why they split those balconies when you can see the top floor has one big balcony. We had a 1 bedroom so I don't know what made a difference.

Tom & Del's was the red section, 4th floor, they were right at the top of the arch.

Oh and the third picture, how would you like to get stuck with a balcony like this?

O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?

That picture is not of the outside of a room, but rooms at the Yacht & Beach Club actually have them! I'd be asking to be moved right away.

We got to the Boardwalk and went into Seashore Sweets and got something for later. It had been a long day so we walked just walked around the boardwalk a bit, then called it a night and went back to the room to chill, I downloaded my pictures for the day and it we was down for the night.

Sunday morning found us headed to Boma for breakfast. This was a new one for Tom & Del, we cancelled this last time they were with us because Del didn't feel well. We stuffed our bellies, sorry no pictures, and walk around Jambo House for a while , then headed into Animal Kingdom.

We did not spend a whole lot of time in Animal Kingdom, seems like its less and less each trip, but our major "want to do" this time was Kali River Rapids. We had not done this for years, mainly because we come in January most often, but we wanted to get Tom & Del wet. We headed right for Kali River Rapids and got fast passes. we had about an hour wait so we dicided to let me and Del do Everest.

When we got there, Del back out so it was just me, and I was not about to miss my ride on Everest, knowing it may be the only chance I get this trip. I went on the single rider line. Got paired up with a Father & two Nun's. Ooops! that's a different story. Got paired up with a father and his two daughters, I'd say they were about 8 & 10 years old. It was the girls first ride on Everest and they did really good.
