Thank you all for all of your kind comments. I was so very surprised to end up loving our stay at BLT. It is somewhat similar to the Contemporary as far as the feel of the theme goes. This has also really showed me what I have felt all along...do not go on other peoples reviews of something if you really want to try. Most reviews I have read on BLT have not been all that great. Lots of comments about the rooms being so much smaller than other DVC rooms. I did not find this to be true. We were in a one bedroom villa. In fact, it is the first one bedroom we have stayed in that had two full bathrooms in it.
A few more pictures of our room:

Back to the report
We made our way over to the new Seven Dwarf Mine Train in hopes it just may be running. It was not sad WE did take a few pictures of it minus the train.

Next up was a trip around Tomorrow Land on the People Mover. That is one of our favorite. We do it at least once each time we are in the Magic Kingdom if not twice. Mrhub got a text from kywildcatchick (Stacey). We had a short meet up with Stacey and her husband (sorry I am really bad at remembering names) at the Noodle Station. It was not serving so a perfect place for a meet up out of the sun with a place to sit. We had a nice time chatting with them about our love of Disney. But soon it was time for us to head out to get ready for dinner.

Ken, I think as far as the theme and decor goes, I like the Contemporary better. But when it came down between the two to paying $$$ or points, the points won. It is also very nice having a washer and dryer in your room during the warmer weather months.

Showered and changed we were ready to head over and up to the California Grill. This in both of our favorite place for dinner. The view is absolutely breath taking. Especially the first time you experience it. For us it is not about the fireworks. We are hardly ever there for them nor do we bother to go back to see them. What we do enjoy are the sunsets. The sunsets are amazing from up there as is the view of the boat traffic and resorts.

We both have always loved our meals too. So much so that we ate there twice on our last trip. The meal was incredible.

With very full tummies, we headed back to our room. I wanted to change back into "normal" clothes laugh . By now the sun was starting to set and we were treated to one of many spectacular sunsets. Can you tell I am a sunrise and sunset person. I took a few pictures. Then I told Mrhub I was going to go down to visit the nicotine attraction. By this time it was dark outside so it was the first I was seeing the resort at night. WOW!!! It was beautiful!!! I had to go up and tell Mrhub to grab a camera and come on down.

We got back up to our room in time to watch the fireworks from our balcony. I do not see pictures of the fireworks from either of us for this night. I guess we were so tired we just want to watch them and enjoy them. It was the end of another great day.

My highlight of the day was discovering just how much I was really going to enjoy BLT.
My low of the day...I can not think of one thing

Marks highlight of the day was his meal at California Grill. (See a pattern here yet for him laugh )
Marks low was probably not getting a room on a high as floor as he would have liked.

For this part of the trip report I am going to do like they did in many episodes of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and fast forward to Thursday night after dinner. I will go back and fill in the rest of the days but I can not wait to share this part of our trip with you any longer.

I went into this trip thinking we had no plans for after dinner tonight. I did know that Buffalo Bill and NHShorty were getting in this evening and we were to meet them for breakfast tomorrow morning. Mark told me as we were heading to dinner that he had received a text from them saying they were here. He also told me they wanted a quick meet up at the dock after dinner. He then told me that MandaLynn and MeganLeigh were going to meet us at the dock. I did say to him why didn't you suggest we all meet at BLT as it would have been easier for Buffalo Bill and NHShorty to meet us there than at The Grand Floridian Dock. I did not think it would make much difference to the girls where we met up.

We had a wonderful dinner at Narcoosees. I did have a couple of drinks with my meal. Once we finished eating the only thing I was ready to do was go back to the room and crash. Mark suggested we walk around the shops till it was time to meet up with everyone. After a bit of window shopping I did wake up and was ready for our meet up. We start walking towards the dock when Mark turns and heads towards the Marina. I asked why we were headed there and he said that is where we are going to meet everyone. I even asked him if he was sure that everyone else was meeting at the marina and not the dock. He assured me that was where we were to meet everyone.

Just as we went around the corner towards the marina we ran into Jessi (from the forum) and her friend Lily. We stopped and chatted with them for a few minutes when Mark says walk with us. I was thinking why would they want to walk with us. I am sure they are on their way to dinner or something. But, we walk on down towards the Marina. As we get down to where you can rent boats our favorite Wishes boat driver comes around the corner. However, he is not dressed in his uniform so I know he is not working. I say to him "What are you doing here"? He gave me the silliest look and said "I dont know, what am I doing here?" He never really did answer me but we started talking. The next thing I know Mark is walking over to me telling me we are going on a Wishes Cruise and we are going on that pointing to the Grand One. I could not believe what I was hearing. At about this time MandaLynn, MeganLeigh and their mother Deb(?) walked around the corner too.

I still was not 100% sure if I had heard Mark correctly. There was a pontoon boat decorated and ready to go out sitting right in front of the Grand One. So I asked him if I had heard him correctly that we were going on the Grand One. He said we were. So everyone knew but me. I also had no idea why he was surprising me. He said he did it for our Anniversary which really is not till Sept. We are going again in Nov but he said he was afraid of the weather then. I was so excited it is hard to really remember what happened next.

Soon we were all aboard the Yacht. It is beautiful inside. Waiting inside also were 2 dozen of the best chocolate covered strawberries I have ever had. I did not have my camera with me because I had no idea I would want or need it. Mark had several with him but I think we were both so busy enjoying the moments to take many pictures.

These are the pictures we ended up with of the evening. I am not sure who took them.

It was one unforgettable evening!!! I loved every minute of it!!! First of all I know not everyone enjoys watching Wishes from the cruises but to me it is the Best way to enjoy them. Out on the water in the boat I take in the whole picture of Walt's dream. You can see the train station, the monorail and the Castle. You can see Tink fly down and you can see the fireworks over the entire Magic Kingdom. To me it just seems like the way it was meant to be. As a bonus you are not standing with a ton of other people trying to see over peoples heads or them holding up cameras or cell phones to take pictures. You are seated and the music is being piped in. When it is over you are 10 minutes from being back in your room. (depending on where you are staying)

It was such a special night and adding to that Magical feeling of the evening was when I realized we had just shared that feeling with DISNEY FRIENDS. No one on the boat really knew each other yet it was such a wonderful magical evening. Or at least it was for me and I hope that everyone who shared it with us enjoyed it as much as I did.

One last silly picture of us enjoying the cruise. I look so silly in this picture but remembering how much I was enjoying myself at that moment makes me smile. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO MY WONDERFUL HUBBY AND ALL OF OUR DISNEY FRIENDS WHO HELPED MAKE THIS MAGICAL DISNEY MEMORY!!!

You guys....I can't even tell you how amazing this was....The yacht was BEAUTIFUL, chocolate covered strawberries always make anything better, and WISHES! Watching it from the water is such a unique experience- I felt like I was in my own little world, just staring at the fireworks, listening to the music, and just being out on the bay....So peaceful, yet intense(in the best way possible) at the same time. I think I teared up a bit cool

Thank you a million times for having us- it was so great meeting you guys!
