We're going to WDW in April!

Okay, more details.

We haven't reserved our flight yet, but hope to arrive late Thursday afternoon - the airport is a good two hours away and we're not morning people, so that's about as early as we can do without stressing ourselves out. We also have no Fastpass+ reservations yet. We'll definitely bypass the rental cars and take the Magical Express to Pop Century - we love not having to drive at all.

Thursday evening after check-in might involve a trip to Downtown Disney and dinner at Earl of Sandwich. If we're feeling ambitious and get checked in early enough, it might involve a visit to the Magic Kingdom, which will be open till 11:00 p.m.

Friday's schedule has us starting the day at MK and finishing it up at Epcot for EEMH. Meals will all be counter service all day.

If we wake up early enough Saturday morning, we might hit DHS for MEMH. But knowing us that won't happen, so our day will probably start at AK, where we have a lunchtime ADR at Yak and Yeti. Evening will see us back at MK, which is open till midnight, and dinner will be counter service.

Sunday has us starting the day at DHS, where we'll have a counter service lunch. We'll head to the Polynesian and 'Ohana for dinner, followed by EEMH till 1:00 a.m. at MK.

We'll start Monday at Epcot and finish it at DHS for EEMH. All meals will be counter service.

Tuesday, departure day, we'll hope to get a late enough flight so we can spend a few more hours at Epcot and get another counter-service lunch there before we return to Pop Century to catch the Magic Express.

Disneydoc and Alicemouse, check your schedules and let's see when and where we can meet up. Since we'll all likely take advantage of EEMH, perhaps that would be a good time?

And now, more news. I am no longer unemployed, yay! I was hired as an independent contractor by a firm that contracts with the government, and my job will be to help them win new contracts. I just started yesterday. So we'll be going back to WDW pretty regularly now!

Hubby has a coworker who can't use their DVC points this year. We're going to pay them what they would've gotten to rent them, and they'll reserve a week for us. So, there's another trip in the works for us sometime in October or early November of this year (has to be before hubby's annual pass expires in mid-November). We're hoping to get into the Boardwalk so we can walk to the Food and Wine Festival, and hubby's coworker has enough points so we can get a two-bedroom and invite our usual travel friends to come along.

For our upcoming April trip, I'm going to upgrade the 7-day pass I didn't use last fall to an annual pass. Since hubby's pass will expire this November but mine won't expire till next April, I will probably take a solo trip in about a year or so. It'll probably be back to Pop Century for that trip.

And we've been talking about going back in October or early November of 2015 with my sister and her family. For that trip, we'll probably get a three-bedroom timeshare exchange off property so everyone can stay together in the same unit.

'Sokay, Doc. I can meet you early in our trip, and meet her later on. What's your itinerary look like?

Oh...and I can't rule out trying to get into Spice Road at some point, but that will depend on how good the food at the Flower and Garden Festival outdoor kitchens is. If it's as good as the Food and Wine Festival offerings, we might just graze while at Epcot.
