Low Cost Disney Date Nights
We recently asked our readers how they create romance at Walt Disney World on a budget. A Disney vacation can be expensive, but it doesn't have to cost a lot extra to create a memorable night with the one you love. Whether you're just getting to know each other, ready to propose, or celebrating your 20th anniversary there are plenty of grown up locations around Walt Disney World to enjoy.
Twilight on the Seine
World Showcase is an extremely popular place to spend some time with your loved one. With a broad variety of atmospheres, plethora of culinary delights, and entertaining performances it's no wonder Epcot tops the charts for a low cost Disney Date Night. We've previously wrote about some great date night ideas in the pavilions of France, Mexico and Morocco but our readers also advocate for a very British date night with music from Off Kilter in Canada, dining by the water at Rose & Crown and closing out the night with Illuminations.
Are you looking for Disney Romance outside of the Parks? Then Disney's Polynesian Resort is the place most of our readers suggest for some together time.
Stroll Along the Beach
Pick up a picnic dinner from Captain Cooks and either find a table poolside or take it down to the beach. The torchlight and water make for a beautiful, romantic setting. Along the shores of the Polynesian you'll find several hammocks to snuggle in after dinner as you wait for the Electrical Water Pageant and the Magic Kingdom Fireworks in the distance. Music is piped in through speakers in disguised in the landscaping.
My biggest surprise in the answers we received from our readers was the amazing popularity of the boat ride between Downtown Disney and the Port Orleans Resort! Lots of couple seem to take advantage of this lazy, no cost trip down the Sassagoula River at night. The lights twinkling off the water make for a most romantic southern setting. On either end of the ride there are plenty of locations to get food or music and simply enjoy the night.

I believe the carriage rides in Fort Wilderness and Port Orleans are fairly reasonable as far as $.
They are supposed to be very relaxed and romantic. I never did it. I was supposed to one year and we were even told we could bring a bottle of champagne and glasses if we wanted to make it extra romantic :)
