Kawaii: The Culture of Cute In Epcot’s Japan Pavilion

Kawaii: Japan's Cute Culture is the latest exhibit to make its home in the Bijutsu-kan Gallery in Epcot's Japan Pavilion. A prominent aspect of modern Japanese culture, Kawaii is rooted in Shinto expression of self. The word means cute, loveable, or adorable, and the items on display certainly reflect all those things.

Our Favorite Things in Epcot’s Japan Pavilion

When visiting Epcot's World Showcase there are several must-visit destinations, many of which include food or drink (I'm looking at you France. And Norway.) But one of my favorite spots to visit has more to do with the look and feel of the pavilion than anything else.

What We Love Most about Epcot’s Italy Pavilion

Epcot's Italy pavilion has always ranked in my top two or three favorite pavilions in World Showcase thanks in part to the overall beauty of the area. Also it's the closest I'll find myself to Venice (or any other spot in Italy) anytime soon.

Continuing the tour of places to chill out and relax at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Today I'm looking at attractions to escape to when you need to take a mid-day break at Epcot. Epcot's Holidays Around the World

One of the most enchanting parts of the Holidays at Walt Disney World to me is the magical expression of Holidays Around the World at Epcot. Each and every World Showcase pavilion is painstakingly decorated in it's unique cultural style to celebrate the joys of season. While taking a stroll along the 1.2 mile promenade you can immerse yourself in each country's traditions surrounding the winter holidays and listen to the marvelous storytellers.

Our Favorite Things about Epcot’s Morocco Pavilion

One of the most beautiful pavilions in Epcot's World Showcase is Morocco. The pavilion might not have an attraction like a ride or a film but that doesn't mean you should breeze past it on your travels around the world. It's definitely on our list of must-visit locations at Epcot.

Take a Shopping Trip Around the World in Epcot’s World Showcase Pavilions

When you're in search of a unique souvenir during your vacation at Walt Disney World, one of the best places to look is in Epcot's World Showcase. You will find an abundance of authentic trinkets in each of the pavilions.

Let's start with a couple fun souvenirs for the younger travelers in your group.

Grab a Waterfront Seat and Enjoy Some Mexican Treats at La Cantina de San Angel

One of my favorite places to grab a counter service meal while touring World Showcase is La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion.

This quick service restaurant is across the walkway from the pavilion's Mayan pyramid, and it offers good food, good margaritas, and really great views of the lagoon.
