Restaurants and Lounges with a Magic Kingdom Fireworks View

Watching Wishes from the comfort of one of Disney's elegant restaurants or lounges outside of the Park is a relaxing and comfortable way to view the Magic Kingdom fireworks. With the music piped into each of these locations, you don't miss a moment of the magic. Climate control and a great cocktail make the experience even better.

The Contemporary Resort's California Grill & Lounge offers fantastic viewing of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks. Not all tables offer a view, but everyone is welcome to stand in the lounge or on the rooftop balcony for a closer look. Make your dinner reservations for up to an hour before the fireworks to enjoy this classic Disney treat. If you've eaten at the California Grill earlier in the evening, simply save your receipt and you'll be allowed back up that same night to view the show. Lounge tables don't require a reservation, but are first come first serve, and fill up fast.

For Disney Vacation Club Guests staying at Bay Lake Tower, the exclusive Top of the World Lounge is a wonderful place to watch the Fireworks. Viewing here is available both from inside the lounge and an open-air balcony. This lounge offers a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, I highly suggest you try the cake.

Over at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Narcoossee's the dining room also offers a spectacular view of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks. Much closer to the action, and often less crowded than the California Grill; Narcoossee's also offers a waterfront deck for restaurant guest to move to for their viewing enjoyment.

Limited viewing of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks is also available from 'Ohana and the Tambu Tambu lounge at the Polynesian Resort's Grand Ceremonial House. Window seating is everything for optimal viewing at these locations as no balcony is available.

This last location is outdoors but entirely worth mentioning. The patio at the Grand Floridian's Counter Service Gasparilla Grill & Games offers comfortable tables next to the Marina. You can grab a snack or a drink inside the grill and then head outside to sit down and relax. This location offers a great, close view of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks, but with only the faint sound of music in the distance.

What have your experiences been? Do you have a favorite restaurant to watch the fireworks from? Leave me a comment and let me know!

I think the best place to watch the fireworks is lying in the hammocks or covered lounge chairs on the beach at the Polynesian. The music is piped in and you can see the Electrical Parade pass by on the waterfront!

We always make late reservations at CG and watch the fireworks. 2 years ago my hubby and i stood at our table and watched, wishing to get pregnant. this past year we stood on the deck with our little boy. guess the pixie dust worked ;) same trip we stayed at BLT and could actually watch from our room, which was the best place :) next trip i want to watch from the poly.

I would have to say hanging out on the beach at the Poly! As Jackie wrote, you get to watch the electrical parade as well. This year however, we're aiming to either watch it from the California Grill or Narcoossee's.
