Disney Partners with Vera Bradley on a New Colletcion

Disney fashionistas have another reason to squeal in delight with the announcement yesterday on the Disney Parks Blog that Disney is partnering with Vera Bradley to release a collection of quilted cotton duffel bags, totes, cosmetic bags and more incorporating Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse into Bradley's familiar bright and colorful style.

Themed Weekends Planned For 2012 Flower and Garden Festival

Even though January isn't even half over yet, plans are in full swing for this year's upcoming International Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. Concerts, displays and special activities are all on tap for the festival, and Disney has planned some themed weekends to take place during the event. Here are those weekends' dates and highlights:

  • March 23 - 25, 2012: Art in the Garden Weekend. This weekend promises to combine nature and art, including "plein air" artists and their works. Check it out at the World Showcase.

Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Preview

While this year's International Food and Wine Festival at Epcot has just ended, already plans are in the works for the upcoming 2012 Flower and Garden Festival. Here is a preview of what guests can expect when that festival gears up in March.

This year's centerpiece will be based on the classic Disney film "Fantasia" and will feature a larger-than-life Mickey Mouse topiary on top of a twelve-foot floral mountain. Below Mickey will be flower versions of buckets and broomsticks, elephants, alligators and hippos.

Spring is in the air and the Flower and Garden Festival is now in full swing at Walt Disney World's Epcot Theme park with millions of blooms, great entertainment and new food offerings from March 6 to May 19, 2013. One of the biggest and most anticipated annual events held at Walt Disney World, the Flower and Garden Festival, which is co-sponsored by HGTV, boasts acres and acres of gorgeous blooms, more than 75 Disney character topiaries and other special displays, and scores of seminars and chats.
