Dining alone can be intimidating but it doesn't have to be at Disney. We've done a little research, listened to our our forum members, and compiled a list of some great places to dine while solo at Disney World.

It's never too early to start thinking about Christmas, especially if going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is on your to do list. Disney recently announced the dates for this year's holiday extravaganza and made tickets available for purchase by phone.

The dates for 2012's Christmas Party are:

• November 9, 12, 15, 16, 25, 27, 29, 30
• December 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21

As mentioned above, you can purchase your tickets over the phone for any of the above dates. Base prices (without tax factored in) are as follows:

Walt Disney World's two-night popular celebration of Christian music is coming back again this fall for the 30th time. 2012's Night of Joy is set for September 7 and 8 at Magic Kingdom.

Disney has also released the lineup of Christian artists for both nights. Friday, September 7 will see these acts take the stage: Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, NEEDTOBREATHE, RED, Francesca Battistelli, Brandon Heath, Royal Tailor, and Disciple. Slated for Saturday, September 8 are: MercyMe, Third Day, Kutless, Chris August, Lecrae, Yolanda Adams, Thousand Foot Krutch, and Dara Maclean.

The craze for Disney's new Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom interactive game at Walt Disney World is growing quickly. Barely two months after it's official launch and there are collector sites, blogs, and rumors popping up across the web dedicated to this fun new attraction. Disney's Imagineers are still tweeking known game play problems, but the busy summer season is coming and more guests than every will be playing.

It may seem strange to think about Halloween now during spring, but the folks at Disney are definitely looking ahead. Recently, they announced the dates and prices for 2012's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. In case you want to make plans to attend this year's event, here are all the not-so-gory details.

Eating and drinking my way around Epcot has always been one of my favorite activities, and good Italian is one of my very favorite ways to indulge. This week the delicious restaurant Tutto Italia re-opened with new menu items, newly designed seating, and outdoor patio, and the stellar addition of a brand new wine bar called Tutto Gusto!

Guests wanting to sample some wine while visiting Epcot will be happy to hear a new option has opened this week. May 1 marked the official opening of the Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar in the Italy Pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase.

Right now at Magic Kingdom, Disney is currently testing out a new way with a guest favorite. Now through May 15, Disney is trialing a new Fastpass system on certain rides and attractions throughout Magic Kingdom.

In the current system, guests obtain Fastpass tickets at the ride or attraction of their choice and return at the time stated upon the ticket to bypass a long wait time. How does the new Fastpass differ? The new system will have guests obtaining Fastpass tickets at home - before they even set foot in the park!

This fun interactive Museum in San Fransisco holds so much Disney History it was too much for just one post. As you walk through this modern interactive museum you explore Walt's life chronologically, and we continue today in that vein.

Earlier this month, Cvent, "the largest cloud-based provider of event management and venue selection solutions," named the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin to its list of Top Meeting Hotels in the United States. The Disney hotel was ranked at 7th in a list of 100.

To come up with the tops for its list, Cvent looked at some 80,000 hotels across the country and followed certain criteria. Among the info considered is the number of meeting rooms, total square footage of meeting space available and how much business the hotel garnered by meeting planners through the Cvent Supplier Network.
