Disney Parks Blog is reporting that the Jeweled Dragon Acrobats have recently launched a five-shows-daily-five-days-a-week schedule at Epcot.

The troupe has landed in Epcot straight from China and is comprised of two women and six men. All of the acrobats, who range from age 18 to 21, have been training since a young age in their homeland. The group has been performing together professionally for three years.

Disney's Polynesian Resort's Tambu Lounge

Tucked in the back of the mezzanine level of Disney's Polynesian Resort, sitting right next to the family restaurant 'OHana is the Tambu Lounge. Open from 1:00 pm until Midnight the quirky, brightly colored Tambu seems like it's more lobby bar than lounge, but what a magnificent lobby it's in! The lush landscapes and Polynesian tiki art surrounding the bar create interesting focal points and conversation starters for those enjoying a drink.

Astro Orbiter Closed After Small Fire Over Weekend

The Astro Orbiter, a ride at the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland, was closed on Sunday due to a small fire. One of the ride's lights shorted out and melted sometime that morning, causing officials to shut down the ride for the rest of the day.

Bo Jones, an assistant chief with Reedy Creek Emergency Services, called the incident "very minor" and stated "we had it out in no time."

The decorative ring at the top center of the ride was the location of the malfunction and the affected light.

Planning a Disney Trip with a Non-Disney Fan

If you are anything like me you live for planning your next Disney Vacation, you can see the park maps in your head. You know where you want to eat, and what your plan of attack will be. Any Disney fan would jump at the chance for the trip you're planning, but what if you won't be traveling with a Disney fan? Planning a trip to Walt Disney World with someone who doesn't understand can be a little trickier.

Here are some things to keep in mind:

Disney's Art of Animation Resort Opening First Phase in May

Disney Vacation Club

The Disney Vacation Club is a great way to own a piece of Disney and get to stay at some incredible resorts. DVC is Disney's version of a vacation ownership program where members buy in at a certain number of points and then have the flexibility to travel where and when they want.

While most people are probably already familiar with DVC there are probably at least few that aren't (don't worry I didn't know a whole lot either.) So I set out to learn a little more about the DVC and share it with you all!
