Ten Villains to Catch at WDW This Fall

Halloween fast approaches, and with it comes a surge of popularity for Disney villains. The Disney Parks Blog put together a top ten list of sorts - ten villains for guests to catch up with during this season at the parks. See how many of your favorites made the list!

  1. Headless Horseman: no head, a glowing jack-o-latern atop a huge, galloping horse? Check, check and check. Catch this classic villain during special appearances during the Magic Kingdom after-hours Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Independence Day Offerings at Walt Disney World

It wouldn't be Independence Day without fireworks, and Disney's certainly got those covered this year. For those of you lucky enough to be in and around Walt Disney World on the 4th of July, here's a look at what Mickey and company are planning to help celebrate.

Magic Kingdom will be showing its "Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky" twice: July 3 and 4. This patriotic take on fireworks will light the up the night both dates at 9 p.m.

Fantasmic! To Show Nightly

Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios is what a lot of guests call a "must-see." Starting next week, the seeing part will get a little easier as the popular show will start a nightly run for the summer.

Starting July 3, the water/lights/special effects/movie highlights show will be available to guests each night at Disney's Hollywood Studios through Septebmer 30.

Showtimes will vary, so guests are encouraged to grab a Times Guide once in the park to get that night's details. Performance times can also be found at www.disneyworld.com.

Fantasmic! A Disney Hollywood Studios Nighttime Spectacular

When the sun goes down at Walt Disney World it doesn't have to be time to head home. My family loves to spend nighttime in the parks and explore all of the magical details of Disney after dark. Fans know that some of the most spectacular shows and effects that Disney has created to entertain the masses happen at the end of the night. Fan favorites include "Wishes" Magic Kingdom Fireworks, Epcot's "Illuminations: Reflections of Earth", and my favorite at Disney's Hollywood Studios "Fantasmic!"
